The nose is fruity, structured and offers concentration, a very fine richness and gourmandize. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of black cherry, wild blackberry, small notes of small crunchy blue berries associated with touches of granite, spices, pepper as well as a very discreet hint of sense of the place and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, very discreetly tight and offers a juicy/mineral frame, a good definition, juiciness as well as a focus on the fruit, a juicy/fresh fruit and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of small wild blue berries, small wild red berries as well as fine hints of liquorice, sense of the place and a very discreet hint of chocolate (in the background).
