The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, a beautiful fleshy/juicy fruit, a fine richness as well as a small density. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, small bright black berries, small notes of violet associated with fine touches of bright violet plum, crushed strawberry as well as fine hints of graphite, tonka bean, discreet hints of fresh lilac (in the background), primrose, a very discreet hint of pepper and fresh mild tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, freshness as well as a beautiful purity of the fruit, a good precision of the fruit, an acidulous frame, minerality, a sense of complementarity, deepness and a racy grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, fleshy/pulpy Boysen berry, small notes of violet associated with touches of raspberry as well as hints of chocolate/tonka bean, fleshy/almost candied fruit cherry, discreet hints of caramelization and an imperceptible hint of bourbon vanilla pod (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built, racy and precise.
