Courtauld Michelet 2020 – Chablis

The nose is fruity, fresh, racy and reveals a fine, tight grain. There are notes of quince, crisp white berries combined with hints of nectarine, white flowers and a discreet hint of gunflint and a subtle varietal touch. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, juiciness, good definition and a certain finesse in its definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy quince, juicy, pulpy apricot and more lightly bright vine peach combined with a touch of dried mandarin peel, racy minerality and a subtle hint of iodine and white flowers. A very discreet hint of beeswax in the background. Good length.
