The wine shows a bright ruby colour. The nose is restrained, slightly shy, requires some aeration. Later it reveals nuances of cornflowers and violets, a hint of cherry blossom, delicate notes of sour red fruits. The palate is juicy, offering a nice fruit concentration, a solid structure and grippy tannins, all balanced by the typical Cabernet Franc acidity. Notes of black cherries and bramble dominate the palate, complicated by nuances of pungent spices and a distinct herbaceous note. A serious wine that is already accessible. Juicy, lingering finish.
