The nose reveals notes of blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of crushed redcurrants combined with subtle hints of raspberry as well as a discreet hint of balsamic and garrigue. The wine needs to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral (racy minerality) and offers a fine fresh frame, suavity, good structure, finesse as well as a fine juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy raspberry and fleshy / juicy redcurrant combined with subtle touches of toasted oak, spices, tonka bean, undergrowth, dried black olive as well as imperceptible hint of toasted almond / hazelnut. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
