(organic) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers tension and a savory spiciness (nutmeg, liquorice, white pepper), as well as pleasant toasted touches (toasted almond, dark chocolate and coffee in the background). There are also herbs and a minty hint (rosemary, fresh pine needles and a hint of dried mint). The fruits on the nose are fresh and tangy, with a hint of dried frutis in the background (red cherry, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, a hint of morello cherry and cranberries, dried red cherry) and a mineral touch of dry stone in the background. The attack on the palate is gourmand and juicy, with notes of ripe red cherry, morello cherry, wild raspberry and fresh red currant, which then develop into spicy notes (nutmeg, liquorice, a hint of crushed cardamom), cocoa, coffee, aromatic herbs (dried mint, dried rosemary, a hint of thyme) and lilac. The tannins are quite firm, slightly grippy, but enveloping. Nice acidity and a good bitterness of grapefruit and coffee on the persistence (balanced by a gourmet touch of dark chocolate).
