The nose is spicy and offers some power. It reveals notes of black plum, cassis, and small notes of pepper associated with touches of crunchy red berries as well as slight hints of sense of the place and pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandise as well as a certain density. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, luscious blackcurrant, and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of small crunchy berries as well as slight hints of iris, lily, a hint of lilac, chocolate, and vanilla/toast. A fine chew on the finish. Nice freshness and brightness of the fruit.
