Contrada Salandra – Piedirosso 2019 – Campi Flegrei Piedirosso DOP

The nose is flowery and offers fruit and fine concentration. It expresses the notes of violet, rose petals and small notes of small crushed red berries, combined with touches of crushed blackcurrant as well as fine hints of graphene, balsamic and fresh pepper and a subtle hint almost fresh varietal. The mouth is fruity, flowery and offers a fine point of dilution, tension, a certain precision. It expresses notes of small red berries, fairly ripe berries and – small notes of balsamic notes associated with touches of racy minerality and fine hints of sweet spices and toasted-liquorice. The tannins are supple and discreetly sappy.
