(organic) The wine has ruby color with medium intensity. The nose is juicy, gourmand, and concentrated. It expresses notes of crushed red cherry, juicy raspberry, redcurrant jelly, crushed blueberry, and blackcurrant, as well as dark chocolate, smoke, toast (toasted almond, cocoa, toasted wood), aromatic herbs (dried mint, rosemary), a sappy hint and an integrated spiciness (liquorice, vanilla, cardamom, a hint of nutmeg). The palate opens with a toasted and chocolatey flavours (toasted almond, coffee, dark chocolate), combined with a good bitterness of bergamot and a herbal touch of dried mint and Earl Grey tea. It also expresses tangy notes of red cherry, raspberry, cranberry, tangy strawberry, and blackcurrant. Nice mouth-watering acidity, the tannins are firm but refined and not dry. Good length. Tension and juiciness.
