Contessa di Radda – Geografico 2014 – Chianti Classico

The nose is fruity and offers crunchy fruits. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, blackberry and Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of crushed wild strawberries, slight toasted touches, tea as well as a subtle hint of balsamic and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a good definition, tension, a beautiful suavity, gourmandise, a small acid / juicy frame as well as a little freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry / Bigarreau, crushed / jammy raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of crushed strawberry, liquorice, toasted oak as well as an imperceptible hint of tea. Good persistence.
