The nose is fruity and offers power, precision, complexity and depth. There are notes of Morello cherry, blackberry and more slightly violet combined with hints of red berries, fine floral notes and a subtle hint of almost cola, spice and cocoa. The palate is nicely juicy, fresh and offers gourmandise, pulpy/crunchy fruit, tension and a fine acidic backbone. Nice control and power work. A beautiful freshness and a coating/charming side. On the palate this wine expresses crunchy cherry, pulpy/crunchy blueberry and slightly Quetsche plum notes combined with hints of red berries, racy minerality as well as fine hints of chocolate, toast/caramel and vanilla. Nice grain of tannins.
