The nose is fruity, racy and offers power. It reveals notes of very ripe cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry, acidulous redcurrants candy associated with slight touches of violet, dry local vegetation as well as discreet hints of black olive, a hint of sap and slight hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight acid frame, suavity as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cooked cassis, blackberry and small notes of violet, purple plum associated with small touches of very ripe red fruits, licorice, nutmeg, spices, a touch of black pepper as well as very discreet hints of local vegetation / Tarweed and dark chocolate. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length. Slight chews on the finish.
