The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers concentration, complexity and a savoury spiciness. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, raspberry coulis, red plum and black plum in the background, associated with spicy aromas (ground cumin, ground nutmeg, liquorice in the background, a touch pronounced cardamom). We also find floral scents of lilac, lily and peony, combined with a hint of dried almond and coffee in the background, as well as a touch of chocolate morello cherry, thyme and roasted rosemary. The palate is supple, juicy, fruity and tangy. It expresses notes of fresh morello cherry, roasted red cherry in the background, strawberry, red plum, fresh black plum and chocolate prunes in the background. We also find an integrated and delicate spiciness (liquorice, ground cumin, nutmeg, cardamom), floral notes (lilac, dried rose) and torrefaction (toasted almond, coffee and dark chocolate in the background). The finish is savoury, subtly mineral (granite) and herbaceous (roasted rosemary, bay leaf), with a gourmet touch of cherry in chocolate and chocolate with mint, refreshed by a nice acidity. Beautiful concentration, fruity juiciness and freshness.
