The nose offers fruit, a certain intensity, notably on the spices, pepperiness, fine grain and a certain depth/concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and black pepper, associated with touches of bigarreau cherry, hints of small roasted-elegant fruits, as well as fine hints of nutmeg, black olive and fine hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, fresh and offers a certain tension, a nice acidity as well as a floral side in the background. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, bright red berries and small notes of juicy/tangy cassis, combined with touches of cherry, as well as hints of sage, black olive, fresh licorice and toastiness. Tannins are finely velvety and sapid.
