The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration / intensity (in the background). It reveals notes of crushed cassis, griotte and raspberry, combined with fine touches of ripe / crushed redcurrant, licorice as well as subtle touches of caramelization and melted chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly fleshy and offers a nice mineral frame, a good definition, gourmandise, a fine juiciness, roundness, fat, a certain finesse, a good guideline and a very slight freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy black cherry / Bigarreau cherry, fleshy blackberry and small notes of plum associated with hints of fleshy strawberry, vanilla/wood, licorice as well as a subtle hint of spices.
