The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is chocolatey, roasted and spicy. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, morello cherry, crushed raspberry, blueberry, as well as morello cherry in chocolate, bitter cocoa, liquorice, tonka bean, crushed cardamom, white pepper, roasted bouquet garni and dried mint, as well as toasted almond, violet and dried rose. The palate offers a tangy, fruity and juicy attack, with flavors of cranberries, tart red cherry, raspberry and crunchy strawberry. We then find peony, as well as a spicy and toasted hint (lisuorice, tonka bean, a hint of vanilla, coffee, dark chocolate and wild herbs). The finish is tight, tangy, with solid and fine tannins and good bitterness, as well as a salivating acidity.
