The nose is fruity and offers a fine richness. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of crushed Williams pear, crushed brugnon and a hint of yellow fruit combined with a hint of zest and touches of fresh almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine acidity (citrus), fat, a very fine unctuosity, a fine straightness, a good definition, freshness, a fine juiciness and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon and fleshy / candied peach associated with hints of green apple skin, quince, fleshy / juicy citrus as well as a subtle hint of crushed yellow fruits, clementine zest, beeswax and almonds. Good length.
