Colli di CastelFranci – Vallicelli 2023 – Greco di Tufo DOCG, Riserva

A lovely floral nose, frank, fresh, racy which offers a fine, almost chalky side. It reveals notes of kumquat, small pulpy/juicy yellow fruits and small notes of white flowers, associated with fine hints of almost acacia, fresh lychee, gunflint/chalky, as well as fine, almost toasted seed hints and saline/iodized character. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, juicy and offers a certain gourmandise, elegance, finesse, a lovely delicacy in its fat/unctuosity and a buttery side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of lychee, vine peach and small notes of kumquat, combined with touches of creamy physalis, as well as fine hints of almost yuzu, zest, fine hints of citrus/lemon blossom and a subtle hint of almost fresh rosemary, and lovely chalky, iodized hints. A lovely wine ! Good sapid persistence.
