Colli di CastelFranci – Iris 2024 – Irpinia Falanghina DOC

The nose presents crispness, intensity of fruit, a certain depth and a vibrant side. It reveals notes of quenette, crunchy nectarine and small notes of elderflower, associated with touches of exotic fruit, as well as hints of apple blossom, a subtle hint of almost physalis, a discreet hint of almost beeswax and a sense of the place. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh and offers good definition, precision, a tangy frame, a nice fatness and unctuosity in elegance, and presents precision. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quenette, crushed apple and small notes of crushed vine peach, combined with a touch of stewed brugnon, fine hints of kumquat, mirabelle plum, as well as a subtle hint of sweet spices, a sap and almost sage in the background. Good length. A wine offering lovely freshness, volume, an airy side and good work on the good bitters.
