The palate is fleshy, but fresh and tangy. It expresses notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, blackberry, cranberries and bigarreaux cherry, combined with touches of mint, toast and liquorice. The tannins are fine, but tight, well structured. A well-made wine, with some complexity.
