The nose is elegant, racy and offers deepness, a fine intensity, delicacy as well as a beautiful power (well-mastered). It reveals notes of blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of kirsch cherry associated with touches of violet, small blue fruits, small touches of olive / “sense of place”, dried almond as well as discreet hints of tonka bean and spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmande, racy, complex and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful structure, an acidulous / mineral frame as well as a beautiful finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of ripe strawberry associated with fine touches of cornflower / violet, tonka bean, hints of purple plum, Bourbon vanilla, hazelnut as well as a subtle hint of black olive, dried leaf and toasted / caramelization. Tannins are elegant and well-built. There are slight hints of dried almond and powdery chocolate on the persistence.
