The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, blackberry and slight notes of ripe red berries combined with slight notes of cassis, fine hints of garrigue, olive as well as discreet hints of spices, Tonka beans and wood. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, fine, relatively gourmande and offers a nice suavity, minerality as well as a nice fresh frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, redcurrant and slight notes of cassis associated with a hint of crushed blackberry as well as slight hints of small wild berries, slight toasted hints, licorice and olive. Tannins are well-built. Good length. Beautiful persistence on notes of dark chocolate.
