The wine shows a medium ruby colour. The nose is delicately restrained, with aeration revealing nuances of ripe red and black cherries, a touch of raspberries and cassis, a hint of tobacco leaf in the background. The palate is delicate and juicy, with crisp, elevated acidity and grippy, drying, sticky tannins. Notes of red cherries and red plums intertwine with herbaceous hints of black currant leaf and tobacco. Juicy and refreshing on the finish with still very assertive tannins.
