The wine has a bright ruby color, of medium intensity. The nose is perfumed, pure and combines fruity and floral notes in the opening. It expresses the aromas of cherry juice, red cherry jam, fresh blackcurrant, crushed blueberry and raspberry, associated with a delicate limestone mineral frame, a floral scent of rose and peony, as well as liquorice, nutmeg and toast. The palate is straight and juicy, with a tangy and fruity attack (we find the flavors of strawberry, red cherry, fresh blackcurrant, crushed blueberry and raspberry), as well as floral notes (peony, rose petals) and spiciness (nutmeg, liquorice). Tannins are well constructed and rather solid. The finish is sapid, slightly bitter (a touch of wild small cherry) and toasted, with a salivating acidity. Good persistence in the mouth on a hint of cocoa.
