Clotide Davenne 2019 – Irancy

Clotide Davenne 2019 – Irancy

The nose is fruity, precise with ripe, fleshy fruit. There are notes of crunchy cherries, blueberries and, more slightly, violets, combined with hints of jammy red berries, racy minerality, as well as a fine touch of rose and a discreet, almost saline note of fresh pepper. The palate is fruity with freshness and juiciness. It has a tangy structure with a smoothness and accuracy that confers a certain gourmandise. There are notes of juicy, pulpy cherries, blueberries and, to a lesser extent, pulpy plums, combined with hints of small red berries, violets, rose and hints of racy, even salty minerality. There is also a discreet note of chocolate with supple and elegant tannins. There is a nice freshness and gourmandise with roundness, pulpiness and a beautiful, persistent minerality.
