Closerie des Alisiers 2017 – Saint-Véran

The nose is fruity, juicy and offers fleshiness as well as a fine gourmandise. It reveals notes of juicy vine peach and small notes of juicy lemon, apple associated with fine touches of crunchy pineapple as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame, fat as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / crunchy brugnon, crunchy apple and small notes of quince associated with fine touches of lychee / quenette as well as a very discreet touch of butter / beeswax. Good length and good persistence. There is a discreet hint of bitterness on the persistence.
