Clos Saint-Vincent 2022 – Pomerol

Clos Saint-Vincent 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, fresh, floral and has a subtle sappy hint. We find notes of fresh wild blackberry, ripe wild blackcurrant and, small notes, pepper, associated with touches of fresh flowers and a hint of star anise and spices. The palate is nicely structured, supple, fresh, gravelly (to be checked) and airy, with a tangy structure and great energy. It has a slightly graphene side. There are notes of juicy and pulpy blackcurrant, fresh blackberry, as well as crunchy raspberry, combined with touches of fresh flowers, saffron, camphor, as well as hints of toast and a slight chocolate nuance. Tannins are mellow and silky. Good length, with lovely freshness and pleasant suppleness. Silky, floral, with a discreet hint of powder in the base. Fresh and sappy.
