The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a fine richness as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of violet associated with a touches of small ripe berries as well as hints of spices, vanilla and a very discreet hint of iris. The palate is fresh, fruity, mineral, well-balanced, well-built and offers a good definition, juiciness, an acidulous frame, tension, energy as well as a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of small red berries associated with fine touches of violet, lilac, caramelization as well as a hint of Bourbon vanilla, sweet spices and very fine hints of dark chocolate (in the background). Tannins are precise, elegant, firm and structuring.
