The nose is gourmet and reveals some concentration and fine density. It has notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and, more lightly, sour, juicy black fruits, combined with fine hints of cardamom, mocha and a fine touch of sweet blond tobacco and a very discreet touch of vanilla. The palate is nicely managed, racy and offers freshness, juiciness, gourmandize, tension, a fine straightness, a certain density, elegance and a slight airiness in the approach. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and more lightly crunchy, sour red berries combined with hints of tonka bean, cardamom and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco, cinnamon and vanilla. The tannins are precise, racy and well-integrated.
