The palate is well-built, offering suppleness, freshness, precision and accuracy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, cherry and small notes of violet, associated with touches of tobacco, star anise, hints of cornflower, small brilliant/fresh fruits, as well as fine floral hints and a subtle hint of almost pine needle and infusion. Good length. The tannins are precise, fresh and discreetly sappy. A fine hint of good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
