The nose has a small intensity, a fine and discreetly tight grain with a certain power and a flowery notes. We perceive notes of pistil, violet and slight notes of fresh blue berries associated with touches of blackcurrant, small bright red berries, pepper and a hint of clove. The palate is fruity with freshness and a tangy frame. There is minerality, a some sweetness, fattiness and energy. There are notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, pulpy quite ripe cherries and slight pistils, violets associated with touches of small, quite ripe, bright blue berries as well as hints of nutmeg, toasted almond, vanilla, as well as fine notes of star anise and a discreet sappy hint in the background. We also perceive a hint of mocha on the finish. There is a good job on the good bitters. The tannins are precise, racy and square.
