The nose is spicy with a certain intensity of mastery. There is a small floral side with touches of rose, violet and lilac. There are notes of small wild red fruits, cubeb pepper and small notes of wild blackcurrant associated with notes of spices. The palate is fruity with juiciness of freshness. There is good definition with minerality and a certain accuracy, even gourmandise. Some fattiness and a fine tension accompany notes of pulpy and juicy cherries, small wild red berries and slight notes of rose and lily associated with touches of fresh pepper as well as a hint of nutmeg, crushed blackcurrant as well as ‘with a fine note of fresh tobacco and saffron flowers and even spices. There is minerality and accuracy as well as a subtle hint of chocolate and toasted hazelnuts in the background.
