The nose is fruity, elegant, finely tight and offers a beautiful fat as well as power. It reveals notes of wild cassis, crushed wild strawberry, small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of cornflower, grey pepper as well as a discreet hint of spices and chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, an almost saline minerality, a fine power, a fine grain and a beautiful touch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed/fleshy blackberry, crushed wild cassis, small notes of wild strawberry associated with a touch of iris, lily as well as fine hints of small red berries, liquorice/zan, toasted and chocolate. Good length. Tannins are structuring and well-built.
