The nose is aromatic and offers gourmandize, power as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and wild strawberry associated with small touches of vanilla and toasted oak/caramelized. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, very slightly tight and offers a good definition, fat, a fine tension, freshness, a fine creaminess as well as a certain finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, crunchy berries and more slightly cassis bud/lily associated with touches of crunchy red fruits, liquorice as well as a hint of toasted oak, oak, a subtle hint of cocoa and a very discreet hint of cedar (in the background). There is a hint of cocoa bitter on the persistence.
