Clos Marsalette 2023 – Pessac-Léognan

Clos Marsalette 2023 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose offers a concentration of spices and a fine peppery hint, a fine textured side, all stretched. It expresses notes of blackberry, cubeb pepper and more slightly – mocha associated with fine touches of toast, flowers and a very discreet hint of clove. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, good definition, a certain juiciness, brightness and a certain brilliance of the fruit. It expresses notes of bright blackcurrant, juicy/pulpy blackberry and more slightly – bright redcurrants, associated with touches of warm pine needles, racy minerality and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco and a discreet hint of liquorice. Good length. Nice fleshy/juicy fruit. Nice tangy persistence, a floral touch and energy
