Notes of pulpy/ripe cassis, bright boysenberry and more lightly bright redcurrant combined with hints of violet, lilac and fine varietal and pink pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, juiciness, a nice tangy frame, a nice bitterness, a nice structure, a little roundness. On the palate, expressing notes of pulpy boysenberry, fresh cassis and more lightly lilac associated with a little touch of peony, tonka bean as well as discreet hints of dark chocolate and vanilla. The tannins are well conducted and finely mellow. Chewy on the finish/persistence.
