The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild cassis, small notes of wild strawberry associated with small touches of hot gravel/terroir, grey pepper and a very discreet hint of sweet spices (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers tension, dynamism, a beautiful mineral frame, a small fat and a fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy/pulpy raspberry, small notes of tonka bean, mild tobacco as well as a subtle hint of sweet spices, tea (in the background) and cardamom. Tannins are well-built, racy and structuring.
