The nose is precise and offers elegance as well as a fine and relatively powerful grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, Cubeb pepper and small notes of concentrated small fruits associated with small touches of darkness/infusion as well as a hint of spices. The palate is mineral, balanced and offers good definition as well as a small enveloping fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, dense cherry and small notes of clove associated with touches of violet, spices as well as fine hints of graphite and toast. A little darkness in the background. The tannins are elegant and chalky.
