The nose offers complexity and a fine, relatively intense grain. There are notes of boysenberry, bright cherry and slightly spicy (nutmeg, pepper…) combined with hints of fleshy red berries and fine hints of tobacco, graphite, pepper and vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a fresh structure, finesse in its power as well as a fine, relatively powerful and structuring grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, raspberry and more lightly juicy/pulpy blackberry combined with hints of bright violet berry, camphor and fine cardamom, cocoa and a subtle hint of crushed almond. Nice freshness and chewiness. A fine hint of tobacco in the background.
