The nose is lactic, fruity and offers power and fine concentration. There are notes of creamy blackcurrant, crushed redcurrant and, more slightly, crushed berries combined with hints of blueberry, toast, caramelisation and a subtle hint of fresh pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmadise, acidity and a fine creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/acidic blackcurrant and more slightly of violet combined with hints of fresh/crushed raspberry as well as hints of tonka bean, vanilla and a subtle hint of cardamom. Good length.
