The nose is gourmand, elegant, slightly tight and offers concentration as well as power. It reveals notes of ripe wild strawberry, cassis, blackberry and more slightly crushed small red berries associated with touches of caramelized oak, vanilla as well as hints of sweet spices and a hint of nut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine juiciness, minerality, freshness, a good definition, a good volume, tension, a fine straightness, a very fine unctuosity as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly raspberry associated with fine touches of cassis, sweet spices, toasted, almond as well as a hint of flowers, a very discreet hint of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of Bourbon vanilla (in the background). Tannins are fine and slightly chewy. Good length. Fine chew on the finish/persistence. A beautiful wine!
