The nose is fruity, fresh and offers some power. There are hints of ripe black berries, violet and slightly pulpy/fresh violet plum with fine infusion/almost herbal notes and very fine blueberry and nutmeg. The palate is nicely juicy, balanced and reveals freshness, good definition, gourmandize, acidity and a hint of iodine on the mid-palate. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, bright raspberry and more lightly blueberry combined with hints of liquorice, fresh lily and hints of tart/fresh blue berries as well as a subtle hint of redcurrant and a fine touch of mocha, toast and a fine touch of toasted almond. Good length. The tannins are precise and relatively mellow. Nice work on the bitter taste, depth, nice acidity and a fine chewiness on the finish/persistence.
