Clos Lunelles 2020 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is elegant and offers delicacy in its power. There are notes of crushed blackberry, crunchy blackcurrant and more slightly blueberry, crunchy blueberry combined with hints of crushed currants and almost smoky, local biotop and fine pepper and a discreet almost rosemary edge. The palate is fresh, mineral, nicely juicy and offers delicacy as well as a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crunchy blackcurrant and more slightly juicy/crunchy blue berries combined with a touch of crushed blue plum, fine hints of toasted almond, toasted hazelnut, vanilla, tonka/mocha bean and a discreet hint of local biotop and pepper. Almost a discreet cypress note in the background. Fresh.
