The nose is fruity, fresh and offers concentration and a small power. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe / juicy wild strawberry and a touch of sour cherry combined with slight hints of licorice, acidulous red berries, dark chocolate / tonka bean as well as discreet hints of hints of spices and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers freshness, creaminess, tension, richness, juiciness, a beautiful guideline, gourmandise as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild raspberry associated with a touch of red berries as well as slight hints of liquorice, tonka bean, fresh cornflowers and discreet hints of chocolate / caramelization. Tannins are elegant and very slightly chewy. Fine chews on the finish. There is an imperceptible hint of toasted almond on the persistence.
