The nose is fruity, fin and juicy. It reveals notes of cassis, flowers (iris, a touch of violet) and blackberry associated with slight notes of minty liquorice. The palate is fruity, gourmand, mineral, relatively fleshy and offers a nice freshness, finesse, a beautiful grain as well as a silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry jam, blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with touches of chocolate as well as slight notes of minty licorice. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and good aromatic persistance with fruity notes, oaky notes and a slight hint of coffee. Harmony and finesse!
