The nose is fine, gourmand, quite elegant, aromatic and fresh. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and fresh/ripe raspberry associated with a discreet hint of licorice, toasted oak as well as a subtle hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, fresh and offers tension, a slight suavity as well as a silky and slightly tight matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with slight hints of raspberry, a discreet hint of licorice as well as touches of bitter dark chocolate and a very discreet/subtle hint of caramelization (on the background). Good length.
