The nose is flowery and offers a fine complexity as well as depth. There are notes of fresh blackberry, crunchy berries and more slightly violet combined with hints of morello cherry and fine hints of liquorice, fresh blond tobacco (in the background) and a subtle hint of almost verbena. The palate is fruity with minerality, freshness, good definition, a certain purity of fruit and straightness. On the palate this wine expresses morello cherry, juicy raspberry and more slightly liquorice notes combined with hints of fresh lily/iris as well as fine notes of nutmeg, sweet spices and a discreet hint of clove. The tannins are mellow. Good length. Sapidity at the back of the palate and on the finish.
