Clos Gautier – Clos du Château 2015 – Côtes de Provence

The nose is aromatic, elegant, fine and relatively gourmand. It reveals notes of peach and brugnon associated with discreet hints of quince, pineapple, exotic fruits as well as hints of spices, white flowers (discreet) and a very discreet hint of white pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, suave, fat, round, well-balanced, ample, gourmand and offers a slight juiciness, a good definition as well as finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy peach, brugnon, passion fruits and flint associated with a hint of litchi, pear as well as discreet hints of citrus fruits and a very discreet hint of sweet spices/wood (in the background). Good length.
