Clos Fourtet 2021 – Premier Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé B, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Beautiful, elegant, precise, delicate, silky and complex nose that offers a nice three-dimensional side. It reveals notes of boysenberry, bright raspberry and small notes of pulpy wild small blue fruits associated with a hint of small fresh roasted fruits as well as fine floral hints, incense, sap and sweet spices. The palate is beautifully  fresh, juicy, mineral, well-balanced and offers precision, tension, delicacy as well as a certain straightness and elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, morello cherry and small notes of bright small blue fruits, bright raspberry associated with fine hints of licorice stick, sweet blond tobacco as well as subtle hints of tonka bean, toasted and roasted almond. Beautiful texture, race and elegance. Beautiful delicious finish. An imperceptible hint of roasting on the finish/persistence.
