The nose is nicely fresh, delicate, all in elegance and offers a very nice finesse of the grains, a nice depth, a little call of “come and get me” side (it requires to work in the glass / offers a multi-layered side) as well as a nice touch of aromatic power (freshness and finesse). The wine will win if it is decanted. It reveals notes of mellow / fleshy cassis, ripe small wild black fruits and more slightly fleshy redcurrants associated with touches of wild strawberries, lilies, hints of Cuben pepper, lilac, limestone as well as ‘with a subtle hint of bergamot and spices. The palate is fruity, nicely elegant, racy, all in delicacy and offers gourmandize, finesse, tension, juiciness, power in finesse, a nice finesse of the grains, a nice definition / precision, some controlled richness (but with a thin / stretched side) as well as a nice multi-layered side. Beautiful suavity and roundness in finesse. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of wild strawberries, wild small black fruits and more slightly crushed blackberry associated with touches of small pulpy fruits, cornflowers, fresh lilies as well as hints of cocoa, mocha, toasted, with a subtle hint of toasted / grilled hazelnut and subtle hints of spices (in the background). Tannins are fine, precise and mellow. Good length. A very nice, finely powdery grains on the palate. There is a lot of elegance in this wine.
